The Liberal Art Community Is Fascinated By The Results Of Liberal Policies

I realize that not everyone in the artistic community is liberal, but there are many who are.

The DetNews has a story and discussion of the emotional, poetic and aesthetic beauty of Detroit’s “fabulous ruins.”

The ironic thing is the liberal art community is fascinated with the direct result of the economic disaster that their policies, views, beliefs and ‘leadership’ have created. Detroit has been a ‘model city’ for liberal policies and leadership, so much so that LBJ gave his Great Society speech at the University of  Michigan in Ann Arbor, approximately 50 miles outside Detroit.

I’ve said this many times, but its worth repeating, Detroit has not had a Republican mayor in nearly 50 years and the results speak for themselves.

And its all crumbling away.
