Maxine Waters is a major force behind the many things that are wrong with America today. Her ideology is counter productive in regards to the economy and liberty. The sad thing is we’re stuck with her because she has managed to convinced her constituents that socialistic policies are better for America than a free market economy. She has convinced them that an economy controlled by a central planning committee is better than one that is based on the free market principles of supply and demand. Her constituents settle for the government handouts and grow poorer while she continues to enrich herself. Until they connect these dots we’re stuck with this socialist, who for some reason has influence in DC. I think she’s an absolute moron…but I’m not one of her constituents so it doesn’t really matter what I think.
I agree it is sad how she and her fellow travelers (like Nancy Pelosi)have convinced her constituents that a socialist agenda is better than a freedom agenda.
When people who consume more wealth than they produce out number the people who produce more than they consume, we are in serious trouble. We are in serious trouble.

I know what you mean. They are going wall-to-wall with Hoffa’s introduction of Obama at the union rally in Detroit, and completely ignore Perry, Bachmann and Sarah Palin.
Because Stimulus I worked so well. And they don’t have to convince their constituents of anything. They just push their own agenda and sheeple reelect them anyway. That’s the benefit of term limits—eventually they can’t run again.
I’ve never been a big fan of term limits but listening to Maxine Waters fr any length of time could change my mind.
Stimulus worked just fine. It produced more government jobs in 2 years than in the last 20 years. For Democrats, those are votes, and that is all they care about.
