Can We Trade Levin For Topolanek
I’m really liking the Czech Republic’s leaders. First, there were Vaclav Klaus brilliant statements about freedom and radical environmentalism. Now, Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek is instructing our Democrat and RINO friends in Washington in econ 101. Via Yahoo Finance:
BRUSSELS (AP) — The head of the European Union slammed President Barack Obama’s plan to spend nearly $2 trillion to push the U.S. economy out of recession as “the road to hell” that EU governments must avoid.
I don’t think he could be more any more clear. The Teleprompters plans are a recipe for disaster. It’s sad that the Europeans are the ones pointing this out. Our Republicans in Washington should take a cue from the Czech Leaders and be blunt with Obama and the American people.
As a side note. Not only do they have good, conservative leaders and great hockey players in the Czech Republic. The city of Prague is beautiful as well.

When I was walking through Prague, I thought to myself ‘wow! this is beautiful’, get my camera, take a picture and put my camera away. Then I would walk about 100 feet, turn a corner and say to myself ‘wow this is beautiful… where’s my camera!’

The EU countries have had a few years to see the brave new world of socialism and the havoc it brings to any economic system. The English Conservatives are riding the wave we in America hopefully will be riding in 2010. Blogs like yours are pointing that out. A thousand voices pointing out the obvious will catch up to the media in time.
