Debbie Stabenow Believes Socialized Medicine Is A Right, Not A Privilege
This is what we are up against.
Our brilliant Senator from Michigan, Debbie Stabenow, who believes by the way that she can feel the effects of Global warming when she is flying, sent an e-mail response to my request that she vote against socialized medicine. In part, she responded (emphasis added):
I believe that health care is a right, not a privilege. There is no doubt that the problems we face are complex, but there are real solutions. We can create a system that is uniquely American and shares the cost between the government, businesses, and individuals in a way that is fair and equitable.
Talk about arrogant. Just because a bunch of socialist government officials think that everyone is now entitled to “health care” doesn’t make it a fact. Furthermore, what is so American about wealth redistribution? Because, when you boil the Democrat agenda down to it’s core, all that is left is wealth redistribution by the government.
Debbie Stabenow and company see one person without health insurance and say to him “that’s o.k. these five nice people over here will pay for your insurance. And if they don’t, we will put them in jail for not paying taxes. Have a great day and remember to vote for me next election.”
I’m still waiting for my response from both Levin and Stabenow. Of course, I asked a complicated question: have you personally read the bill from front to back?
As for Stabenow personally feeling the effects of global warming, there’s a technical term for that. It’s called hot flashes.
