Site Update: WordPress 2.8
When I logged On to my trusty computer this morning I noticed a little ‘nag’ banner on my WordPress Dash Board informing me that 2.8 was available and do you want to upgrade?
In the past, the WordPress upgrades have gone smoothly. This has not been so smooth.
You might notice, I upgraded to a new theme (the old one was…well, an old theme that wasn’t working so great with rev 2.8) and will be tweaking it as the day moves on.
If you notice anything that isn’t working, please shoot me an e-mail and I’ll try to straighten it out.
Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for letting us know! What happened?
Like you said, the upgrades usually go smoothly, but I’ve been having trouble since 2.7, still can’t get the comments to work properly.
Please let us know what happened (after you figure it out of course). It’d be a big help!
So far most of the problems have been on the Dashboard side. I have errors with my incoming links (can’t display them), some of the automatic plug in updates don’t work (errors), the visual post text editor doesn’t work on 2.7 era posts and overall the dashboard runs SLOW. On the HTML (web) side of things the fonts were much smaller and looked goofy, so I changed themes, and hat seemed to clear up the web side of things.
I’m so frustrated. I did back up, but it’s a pain to go backwards.
