If you want to move beyond your usual safe but ho-hum holiday, this is the year to break out of the box and try something different when decking your halls and holiday tables.
“This town needs a little spark, something fresh and new and uplifting,” says Denise Ziya of Designs by Denise in Troy. “Holidays don’t have to be that serious green and red this year. There are no rules when it comes to holiday decorating.”

@WadeHM: Too true. It really bums me out, because right around Halloween (or is it ‘Fall Harvest’ celebration) I start to get fired up for Christmas and the start seeing the generic PC ‘Holiday’ garbage.
